Welcome to InnerStrength Rehabilitation Services for Cancer Patients, Inc. Our purpose is to provide information, education and products to health care and exercise professionals who care for cancer patients, and to those individuals going through the cancer experience.
Our workshops provide a venue for the implementation of cancer rehabilitation programs into hospitals, clinics or wellness facilities. These workshops are offered in a number of formats to best meet the needs of participants and are eligible for continuing educational units.
For those who have experienced cancer, our online resources include links to articles, a cancer rehabilitation blog, FAQ's and to recommended sites. While not intended as a substitute for medical advice or treatment, they offer a basis for informed questions by patients to their physician about the implementation of specific exercise regimens for their recovery.
InnerStrength also provides rehabilitative products including therapeutic exercise bands and DVD specific to the needs of the breast cancer population, as well as a series individual exercise manuals across a spectrum of cancers.
